Rescheduling
A rescheduling request must be made at least 15 days before the scheduled journey.
The first rescheduling has no rescheduling fee. The second and each later rescheduling has a fee of ₹3,000 per night.
Any difference in the applicable package price for the new date remains payable. All rescheduling remains subject to availability and operational feasibility.
Cancellation charges
The applicable charge is determined by how far in advance the cancellation is made.

Future booking adjustment
If another booking is made within 6 months of cancellation, the following adjustment may apply:
- Where cancellation occurred more than 3 days before the journey, the applicable cancellation charge may be adjusted against the new booking.
- Where cancellation occurred from 3 days before the journey through the scheduled journey date, only 50% of the cancellation charge may be adjusted against the subsequent booking.
The new journey remains subject to availability and the package price applicable to the new date.
Tax
Any tax component that is legally non-refundable or has already become payable to the appropriate authority will not form part of the refundable amount.
Bookings through travel partners
A booking made through a travel partner may also be subject to that partner's applicable conditions. The higher applicable cancellation charge may be considered where relevant.
Cancellation by Sundarban Houseboat
If Sundarban Houseboat cancels the journey and a mutually acceptable alternative cannot be arranged, the amount received for the affected booking will be refunded subject to applicable statutory requirements.
Independent flight, train, hotel, personal-transport and incidental costs are not normally reimbursed unless specifically agreed in writing.
Weather, tides and itinerary changes
Reasonable route, timing or itinerary adjustments due to weather, tides, forest rules, government instructions, safety or navigation do not automatically constitute cancellation.
Refund processing
Any refundable amount is calculated after applying the applicable terms and is returned through an appropriate banking or digital-payment channel after verification.
